NBC will generally be found in the Channel 2-70 range on Dish Network, and NBC Sports is on channel 159 on Dish.

NBC is available in all Dish Network packages, including America’s Top 120 starting at $80 per month; America’s Top 20+ starting at $95 per month; America’s Top 200 starting at $100 per month; and, America’s Top 250 starting at $110 per month.

However, as a distributor of content created by other platforms and channels Dish Network must routinely negotiate with content providers over the price it is willing to pay to carry that content. It’s not unheard of for negotiations to become difficult and for brief periods where certain content is no longer available. Most of the time, these disputes are resolved, and the content again becomes listed on the Dish Network and its streaming platform, Sling TV.

If you don’t have Dish Network satellite TV you might consider signing up for Sling TV rather than cable because Sling TV costs about $35 a month as of this writing and offers about 50 channels. That may be the right number of channel options for you vs. paying much more for cable’s hundreds of stations that you may not even watch. You can also watch local NBC stations if you get a TV antenna to receive signals from local broadcasters.
