Wireless providers reach 100% of the state of South Dakota, but other forms of internet technology are less widely available in South Dakota than in other states. Only 79.10% of the population of South Dakota has access to DSL internet service. Cable internet is available to 73.60%, while only 40.90% have access to fiber internet. Less than 43.30% of South Dakota is served by three or more wired internet providers (DSL, cable and fiber internet).
