Is your Kellin Communications internet out? Follow these steps to troubleshoot a Kellin Communications internet outage and restore internet connectivity.

I Have No Internet Connection

Let’s check network status and restart your Wi-Fi router for Kellin Communications.

  1. Find the Ethernet Cable: Remember that cable we set up for you? It runs through your home and connects to your router. Just trace it back.
  2. Discover the Power Supply: As you follow the cable, you'll come across our Power Supply. It's the heart that keeps our equipment alive and your connection smooth. There might be a few different versions of it, but they all function similarly. You’ll have one of the following: Canopy, Black or White.
  3. Gently unplug the Power Supply from the wall. Think of it as giving it a short nap. Let it rest for about a minute. While you're waiting, double-check that all other connections are snug.
  4. Wake It Up: After a minute, plug it back in. It might take a moment to get back into the groove, so give it up to 5 minutes.
  5. Still nothing? If after rebooting your power supply and personal router you still are not connected, you can call for support at Kellin Customer Tech Support: (719) 785-7200, (970) 384-4850 or (303) 325-2770.

New Router, Not Connecting

Kellin recently transitioned to an advanced authentication system. This means that if you purchase a new device it needs to be authenticated by Kellin support. Contact Kellin to get the device authenticated for the Kellin network and then perform the automatic DHCP configuration on the router. Have your account information ready.

New Router, Forgot Password

Setting up a replacement router and forgetting the password to your home Wi-FI network? Kellin won’t know this password because you are using your own equipment. To recover the password to your Wi-Fi network, you’ll need to be the person who set it up originally or have the router login information handy. Log into your router’s admin dashboard using either the router’s app or a browser. For example, whether your router is from NetGear, Link Systems, ASUS, or another, you will have registered it, named your network, and given it a password when you set it up. Log back into your router account to access your home Wi-Fi network password in account settings or privacy. Even if you also forgot the login password to the app, you should be able to recover that if you can provide the email associated with the router account and answer the challenge questions correctly.
