Hawaiian Telcom isn’t currently posting outages on Down Detector but you can follow them on X for up-to-the-minute updates during an outage. The August 2023 wildfires damaged the entire electric grid on Maui and also destroyed cell towers and other telecom equipment. The power outages had the greater impact.
