When you sign up for Viasat satellite internet service, you must register a method of payment that will be charged each month for the following month’s service. If you wish, you can make a single payment at any time. If you have already paid your bill for the upcoming month, your method of payment on file will not be charged again for that month. This is the payment arrangement you can expect to make with Viasat.
Upon a successful credit check, you may qualify to have the installation fees waived. If not, you will be required to pay them to receive service.
Viasat plans are set up as 24-month contract agreements. If you wish to terminate the contract before the 24-month period is up, you will be obligated to pay a termination fee. Unless otherwise stated on your contract, this fee is equal to the number of remaining months left in your contract times $15.
Unless you chose to purchase your equipment, you are expected to return your equipment within 30 days of termination of your service. If you fail to return the equipment within 30 days, you will need to pay a fee for each piece of equipment that is not returned.
