The process to apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) in Kentucky involves a few simple steps.

Are you Already a Lifeline Subscriber in Kentucky?

Lifeline Subscribers can reach out directly to your internet provider to enroll in ACP without applying again on the government website. Your internet company may be able to apply the ACP discounts directly to your existing Lifeline service account.

Alternatively, you can also check with other participating internet companies to see if the ACP benefit can be applied to a separate internet service. A list of companies appears on the .gov website.

To Apply Online in Kentucky for Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)

In a web browser, type “affordable connectivity gov” into the search bar and click on the result that shows “.gov” in the web address. You want the official government website.

1. Create an account at the official .gov site
2. Complete the application in one of 9 available languages
3. Submit the application online. You could receive an immediate approval, depending on requirements

To Apply by Mail

• Print an application in English or Spanish from the official website. Include a Household Worksheet, also available on the government site, with your application.
• Complete the application and Household Worksheet and mail them along with your proof documentation to: ACP Support Center, P.O. Box 9100, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18773
• After Applying you’ll be notified of the results. You could be confirmed, or, may be asked for further documentation.

Once approved, get internet service. The official website lists all providers that support ACP for Kentucky.
