What actually changes the price in your area
- Which Residential tier is offered. The $55 and $85 capped plans are only available in select areas. In congested cells, checkout may only show Residential Max at $130.
- Waitlists and capacity. When a cell is full, new orders go on a waitlist. That delays activation and can limit plan choices until capacity opens.
- Hardware offer. Some addresses get no upfront hardware cost. Others see a one-time kit purchase or a monthly kit rental on top of the service plan. The old nationwide $599 kit price no longer applies as a single U.S. rate.
- Taxes and shipping. Sales tax and shipping still vary by state and address.

- Standard home kit: dish, Wi-Fi router, cable and power supply. Cost depends on your address; do not assume the old $599 figure.
- Optional mounts and accessories: roof mounts, longer cables and Ethernet adapters are sold separately and add to the setup total.
