No. You cannot buy Starlink stock as it is not a publicly traded company. You may be able to in the future, but there isn’t any specific timeline for when that might happen.

Starlink Initial Public Offering

When a company becomes publicly traded, a certain amount of stock is made available to purchase called an IPO or Initial Public Offering. While SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has expressed interest in going public with Starlink and offering an IPO, there are no plans to do so until the company becomes profitable. It may or may not come as a surprise, but Starlink is not currently profitable. It’s not as uncommon as you might think, most businesses take some time to become profitable. But there is no way to be sure if Starlink will be able to, or how long it may take.

Starlink equipment costs

The equipment that customers must purchase to receive signals from Starlink satellites initially cost $3000 to produce. Customers only pay $499 for that equipment, so Starlink was selling it for a huge loss. The current equipment produced and sold to customers costs $1300, which is less than half the cost of the originals but is still about two and a half times the selling price. Starlink does have plans to cut the price in half again and then still later cut it in half one more time. If they can cut the costs that much, Starlink may be able to become profitable in the future. Until then, there will be no way to purchase stock in Starlink.
