What Channel is FOX on Samsung TV Plus?

Samsung TV Plus is a free, ad-supported streaming service offered by Samsung Electronics on its Smart TVs and select mobile devices. While it has a lot to offer, it currently features only two FOX channels: LiveNOW from FOX on channel 1006 and FOX Soul on channel 1104. Notably, it does not include FOX Business, FOX News, FOX Sports, FOX Weather, or FOX Local. If you're looking for the local FOX affiliate station, you can find it on channel 1035, but this option is available only if you live in the broadcasting areas of Tulsa, Salt Lake, Memphis, New Orleans, or Cincinnati.

The main FOX channels are available on the FOX apps (which may require a paid subscription//) and also are carried with a paid subscription to YouTubeTV, Xumo, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV Stream, and Sling. Philo does not have FOX. Not all streaming platforms carry the full roster of FOX channels so be sure to check the channel lineup for your address before signing on with a paid streaming plan.

Samsung TV Plus has a good variety of live TV channels, on-demand content, and streaming channels without the need for a separate cable or satellite subscription. Samsung TV Plus is pre-installed on many Samsung Smart TVs as a built-in feature. It’s not available on Roku, Fire TV or Apple TV devices.

Getting to the channel guide for Samsung TV Plus starts with making sure you’ve downloaded, or can find the pre-installed icon, for the Samsung TV Plus streaming app. You can get it from the Play Store if it’s not already built-in. Once inside the app use your remote to navigate to the app’s Home Screen, and select Universal Guide. If this does not work, go to your TV settings button on the remote, then Broadcasting, then Auto Program, then Start Scanning.

Most shows have commercials but this is typical for a free TV streaming platform.

FOX Sports was established and secured broadcasting rights to major sports events, including NFL, MLB, and NASCAR.

Spin-Off of 21st Century Fox

In 2019, The Walt Disney Company acquired 21st Century Fox, which included the 20th Century Fox film studio and several cable networks. Following this acquisition, FOX Corporation was formed as a separate entity.
