2026 Promotional Offers for New Subscribers in Bend

Several 2025 promotions are designed to attract first-time customers in the Bend area. The most aggressive deals are combined with a two-year agreement.

• First-year pricing freeze: Sign up under contract and the monthly rate is locked in for the first 12 months.
• Free Premium Channels: HBO Max, SHOWTIME, STARZ, and Cinemax included for the first 3 months (a $54 value per month).
• $200 Visa Rewards Card: Available when ordering online and activating new service.
• Free NFL Sunday Ticket for 2025: Automatically included with CHOICE and higher packages purchased before August 2025.

Interested in skipping early termination commitments? Contract-free options qualify for select offers, although the monthly pricing is higher and fewer premium bonuses apply.

What You'll Actually Pay: Hidden Fees and Promo Expiration

Initial prices don’t tell the whole story. After the 12-month promotional period, contract-bound subscribers see an upward price adjustment—typically between $10 and $25/month depending on the package.

Additional fees to account for:

• Regional Sports Fee: Up to $15.99/month when subscribed to CHOICE and higher packages.
• Advanced Receiver Service Fee: $15/month for DVR service across all TV devices.
• Additional TV access fees: $7/month per TV beyond the first.

To sustain long-term value, bundle services with eligible AT&T Fiber products available in Bend, or negotiate for equipment upgrades when renewing at the end of a contract cycle. Subscribers who actively monitor and renegotiate after promo expiration avoid the steepest increases over time.

Exclusive Promotions for New DirecTV Customers in Bend, OR – 2026

Sign-Up Bonuses Deliver Immediate Value

Starting in 2025, new DirecTV subscribers in Bend can capitalize on limited-time promotions that unlock instant rewards right after activation. Depending on the current promotion cycle, new customers may receive a Visa® Reward Card valued at up to $300 after signing up for select Choice™ and above packages. These cards typically arrive 4-6 weeks post-installation and require online redemption within a specified timeframe.

In addition to prepaid cards, first-time subscribers often qualify for bonus months of service. For example, new sign-ups before March 2025 can access up to three free months of premium networks, including HBO Max™, SHOWTIME®, STARZ®, and Cinemax®. These complimentary months activate automatically and revert to regular pricing unless canceled prior to the promotional expiration date.

Reduced Upfront Costs with Waived Fees

DirecTV minimizes initial setup expenses through seasonal waiver programs. For newly activated accounts, the following benefits frequently apply:

• Free Standard Professional Installation – worth $99, completely waived for most residential accounts in 2025.
• Zero Equipment Lease Fee for the First Receiver – clients only pay for additional devices or upgrades, while the first Genie HD DVR remains covered.
• $0 Activation Charge – for qualifying packages, eliminating the standard $19.95 initiation fee.

Most waived fee promotions are available during quarterly promotional windows, often aligned with major sports seasons or the beginning of the calendar year.

How to Secure the Best Offer in Bend for 2026

Timing plays a significant role when aiming to unlock the most valuable deals. Here's how customers in Deschutes County can optimize their signup experience:

• Watch for January and August sales cycles, which typically align with the NFL season and new-year cable shuffles—common periods for elevated reward card values and deeper discounting.
• Use DirecTV's “Check Availability” tool with a Bend ZIP code (e.g., 97701 or 97702) to discover hyperlocal offers.
• Call DirecTV directly during weekday hours—many promotions extended by phone aren't always shown online.

Bundling services with AT&T Internet or home phone increases the chance of receiving additional discounts or upgraded gift card values. Representatives frequently layer in regional bundle incentives when both services are added simultaneously.

Understand DirecTV’s 2026 Contract Terms in Bend, OR

12-Month vs. 24-Month Contracts: What to Expect

DirecTV offers two standard contract lengths — 12-month and 24-month service agreements. Most promotional pricing structures apply to the 24-month contract, with the first 12 months reflecting a lower introductory rate. Starting in month 13, rates adjust to regular pricing based on the selected package level.

For those who prefer more flexibility, the 12-month option limits your commitment, yet doesn’t qualify for all advertised discounts. The 24-month agreement, while longer, often includes higher-value incentives such as additional premium channels and streaming perks.

Understanding Early Termination Fees (ETFs)

Ending your contract early triggers a prorated early termination fee. As of 2025, the fee stands at $20 per remaining month on the agreement. For example, canceling with 10 months left on a 2-year contract results in a $200 charge added to your final bill.

These fees apply uniformly across all Bend, OR subscribers enrolled in standard residential service, with no variation due to package type or household location.

Included Perks: Equipment, Streaming Access, and More

Each DirecTV package in Bend includes essential hardware on lease — typically, one Genie HD DVR and a satellite dish. The equipment remains property of DirecTV, and return requirements apply if service is canceled.

• Genie DVR system: One device with whole-home sharing and 200-hour HD storage capacity.
• Streaming platform logins: Subscribers receive access to the DirecTV app, usable on smartphones, tablets, and compatible smart TVs.
• Cloud DVR features: Stream recorded and live content across devices with no added monthly charge.

Additional receivers for extra TVs come with a monthly leasing fee, typically ranging from $7–$10 each, depending on the tech requirements and device type.
