Tohono O’odham Utility Authority (TOUA) is a government-based, nonprofit Internet Service Provider, founded in 1998 to bring broadband access to the citizens in the Sonora Desert region of Arizona and Northern Mexico. The company was created by the Tohono O’odham Nation, a Native American tribe, and was established to help bridge the digital divide in the tribal community.
TOUA services include high-speed broadband Internet, voice, and cable TV access. Their coverage area is around 21,000 square miles in Southern Arizona and Northern Mexico. TOUA is dedicated to providing reliable service and offers a 99/99 percent network availability guarantee, ensuring customers have a quality internet connection at all times.
