Stayton Cooperative Telephone Company (SCTC) is a cooperative telephone company providing telephone and internet services to rural and residential areas in the US state of Oregon. Founded in 1936, it is among the first rural telephone companies in the country.
SCTC provides digital TV, broadband internet, T1 connections, Wi-Fi, and long distance services, as well as Voice over IP (VoiP). Its service coverage area encompasses over 600 square miles in central Oregon with about 3,100 residential and business customers.
In terms of reliability, SCTC has a reputation for its highly reliable network, offering coverage in the most rural parts of its service territory. The company deploys fiber–optic technologies including ADSL and VDSL to provide internet speeds up to 100/65 Mbps.
