Eastex Telephone Cooperative was established in 1936 by 68 individuals, whose goal was to provide local telephone service in rural areas. Since then, it has become an internet service provider in the area, providing reliable internet services to over 10,000 subscribers.
Eastex provides a range of internet services to residential and business customers in their service area in East Texas and Louisiana. Coverage includes more than 20 rural counties in Louisiana and Texas, covering a total of over 9,700 square miles.
Eastex offers a variety of plans with speeds up to 10 Mbps for its residential customers, while business customers may qualify for speeds up to 50 Mbps dependent on location. Eastex offers packages for single user homes, as well as bulk plans for businesses.
