Bristol Bay Telephone Cooperative (BBTC) is an internet service provider based in Dillingham, Alaska. BBTC was founded in 1981 and is one of the largest rural broadband providers in Alaska. They provide high-speed internet, television, and telephone services to the Bristol Bay region in Alaska. BBTC services are available to over 10,000 households and businesses in the 16 communities it services, which includes more than 40,000 users. BBTC’s internet service offers up to 1.5 Mbps (dial-up and DSL), 3 Mbps, and 10 Mbps symmetrical speeds to its subscribers, which is considered one of the fastest high-speed internet connection available in rural Alaska. Reliability is one of the main benefits of BBTC service as they have installed over 1000 miles of fiber optic cable to provide the most reliable connection possible. BBTC plans range from basic dial-up services to various DSL and business plans.
