Van Buren Telephone Company was established in 1995 in Van Buren, Arkansas, to offer telephone service to five surrounding counties. It later developed into a rural telecommunications service provider, offering telephone, internet, cable television and other services to customers in northwest Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma. It is wholly owned and operated by the Washington and Madison County Telephone Company.
