Panhandle Telephone Cooperative (PTC) was begun in 1952 to provide telephone services to rural areas of 15 counties in the Texas Panhandle. PTC provides a full range of advanced telecommunications services to more than 24,000 customers, including phone, Internet, security, cloud, and other technology services.
The company operates 190 exchanges in a 15 county area, including Potter, Randall, Texas, Sherman, Moore, Dallam, Hansford, Hartley, Oldham, Deaf Smith, Castro, Parmer, Lipscomb, Hale and Floyd Counties in the Panhandle. Services include telephone, digital TV, DSL and high-speed internet, as well as wired or wireless internet access through the PTC fiber network.
PTC has the highest reliability and mainly offers speeds ranging from 25mbps to 1000mbps, with additional speeds up to 2Gbps available in select areas. The company has a good reputation for customer service and offers a variety of consumer and business plans ranging from basic plans to personalized, multi-location and enterprise plans.
