When does Scream 7 stream on Prime Video?
Amazon’s October schedule lists Scream 7 for Prime Video subscription streaming on Friday, October 16, 2026. That means Prime members (and Prime Video subscribers) can watch it as part of their plan starting that day, instead of paying a separate rental or purchase fee.
Prime Video releases often appear around midnight Pacific time (about 3 a.m. Eastern). Amazon doesn’t always post an exact drop minute, so search for “Scream 7” in the Prime Video app early on October 16 or add the title to your Watchlist once its page shows the subscription badge.
Can I still rent or buy Scream 7?
Yes, until the subscription window opens. As of early October 2026, DocumentaryTube reported the U.S. Prime Video listing showing UHD rent around $5.99 and UHD buy around $19.99. Confirm the current price and format on the live Prime Video title page before you check out — digital prices change.
After October 16, most viewers with Prime Video access will stream it with their subscription. If you already bought the digital copy, you keep that purchase in your Amazon video library.
Was Scream 7 on Paramount+?
Paramount announced that Scream 7 began streaming on Paramount+ in the United States and Canada on May 28, 2026 (announcement dated May 21, 2026). That confirms the launch window, not whether the title is still in either country’s catalog in mid-October. Check the live Paramount+ title page or search in the Paramount+ app for current availability in your region.
Either way, the timely U.S. subscription path for October 16 is Prime Video.
What is Scream 7 about?
Kevin Williamson directs this 2026 entry in the Scream franchise. Paramount’s synopsis centers on Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) as a new Ghostface killer targets her daughter, played by Isabel May, in the town where Sidney has built a life. The cast also includes Jasmin Savoy Brown, Courteney Cox and other series familiars, per the Prime Video title page.
Paramount rates the film R for strong bloody violence, gore and language. Prime Video’s listing also warns about flashing or strobing lights, which matters if anyone in your household is sensitive to that kind of effect.
