1. DIRECTV MySports: $44.99 a month plus a free month of NFL RedZone
DIRECTV's sports-only streaming plan is $44.99 a month for the first six months for qualifying new customers, after a five-day free trial. That's $20 a month off the regular $64.99 rate. MySports includes 20+ sports and broadcast networks, such as ESPN, FS1, NBA TV and NFL Network, plus local channels where available, the ESPN Unlimited Plan and unlimited cloud DVR. The current promotion also adds one month of the MySports Extra add-on at no charge, and MySports Extra includes NFL RedZone. 2. Hulu + Live TV: $49.99 for your first month
New and eligible returning subscribers can get Hulu (With Ads) + Live TV for $49.99 for one month, then $99.99 a month. The plan includes access to Disney+ and ESPN content in their separate apps. Current Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN subscribers, along with some third-party-billed customers, aren't eligible. The offer ends at 9 a.m. PT on October 26, 2026.
3. AMC+ Premium: $39.99 for a year
Just in time for Halloween, AMC is advertising a full year of AMC+ Premium for $39.99, which works out to about $3.33 a month. AMC+ Premium includes AMC+, Shudder, Sundance Now and IFC Films Unlimited. AMC says the deal is for new and upgrading subscribers through October 12, 2026. 4. STARZ: $4.99 a month for three months
STARZ is offering new and returning subscribers who sign up on its website $4.99 a month for the first three months, then $11.99 a month. Prefer to pay once? The annual plan is $29.99 for the first year (regularly $69.99). The offer doesn't include a free trial. 5. Fire TV Stick 4K: $29.99 during Prime Big Deal Days
Amazon says its new Fire TV Stick 4K will be half off, $29.99 instead of $59.99, for Prime members during Prime Big Deal Days on October 6 and 7. The DIRECTV app supports Fire TV devices, so it's an inexpensive way to add streaming to another TV. Our Prime Big Deal Days guide has the details.
6. YouTube TV: $15 off a month for a year for eligible professions
Verified U.S. active military members, veterans, teachers, nurses and first responders can get YouTube TV's Base Plan for $67.99 a month for the first 12 months, compared with the standard $82.99. Eligibility is verified through ID.me, and the discount must be redeemed by December 31, 2026.
7. Peacock Premium for students: $6.99 a month

8. Netflix included with a DIRECTV Genre Pack

Frndly TV doesn't have a big October promotion, but its annual plans are a standing discount. Basic is $83.88 a year compared with $8.99 a month, about $6.99 a month. Every plan comes with a seven-day free trial.
How to get the most from streaming deals
- Set a reminder a few days before any promo price or free month ends.
- Read the eligibility terms. "New subscribers only" often excludes anyone who has subscribed recently.
- Add up the total. Several cheap streaming services can cost more than one TV package with the channels you actually watch.
