What is Masterplan about?
When a legendary thief sets his sights on the Mona Lisa, he recruits Chiara, a sharp Italian cybercrime expert (Simona Tabasco), and Jay, a swaggering French explosives specialist (Victor Belmondo). Then he drops the twist: they are long-lost siblings, and he is their father. The chaotic new family has to work together — and try not to kill each other — to pull off the heist.
Thomas Vincent (Reacher) directs and co-wrote the screenplay with BAFTA-winning writer David Wolstencroft. Masterplan is co-produced by Gaumont and Amazon MGM Studios, was shot in France and Italy, and is the second installment of a saga based on Stefania S.’s novels. The Prime Video listing clocks it at about 1 hour 49 minutes and rates it TV-MA.
How to watch Masterplan with DIRECTV
Masterplan is a Prime Video exclusive, so it won’t appear as a movie channel airing in your DIRECTV guide. Sign in to the Prime Video app with an Amazon account that includes Prime Video access.
On a DIRECTV Gemini device, press APPS on the Gemini Voice remote, open or install Prime Video from Google Play, sign in and search for Masterplan on October 16. Gemini holds a limited number of added apps, and Prime Video needs its own Amazon subscription even when you watch it beside your DIRECTV live channels.
