How to Watch The Wanted Man on Apple TV
By American TV editorial team |
The Wanted Man premieres globally on Apple TV on Wednesday, January 6, 2027. Apple announced an eight-episode season, opening with two episodes and continuing with one each Wednesday through February 17.
See our Bad Monkey Season 2 guide and Dark Matter Season 2 guide for other Apple releases. Each title has its own schedule; an app listing or trailer alone does not establish full-episode access.
The announced release schedule
| Date | Episodes |
|---|---|
| January 6 | 1 and 2 |
| January 13 | 3 |
| January 20 | 4 |
| January 27 | 5 |
| February 3 | 6 |
| February 10 | 7 |
| February 17 | 8 — finale |
The episode numbering follows Apple’s announced two-episode opening and subsequent weekly releases. Check the current listing if Apple changes the schedule.
What the drama is about
Hugh Laurie stars as Felix Carmichael, a crime boss betrayed by someone within his organization and sent to prison. Facing threats to his family and business, Carmichael plans an escape. George Kay created the series, which also stars Thandiwe Newton, Fionn Whitehead and Gina McKee.
How to watch
Use the Apple TV app or website with the required subscription access. A supported television, phone, tablet or streaming device can provide a viewing route; owning Apple TV hardware is different from having a subscription to the original series.
Check whether an existing bundle or promotion already supplies the entitlement. Rentals, purchased movies and subscription originals can appear in the same app, so select the exact series rather than an unrelated similarly named title.
DIRECTV customers
This is an Apple streaming premiere rather than an announced linear DIRECTV channel airing. Confirm app support on the intended equipment and sign into the correct Apple account. A general channel package does not automatically activate every streaming original.
Before January 6, test playback, captions and account access. Review current pricing, any trial eligibility and renewal terms in the order screen. No specific release hour is established by Apple’s date announcement, so use the live episode listing rather than assuming a particular midnight drop.
