What season 2 is about
After Yancy witnesses the murder of a prominent Florida fixer, an ambitious state attorney pairs him with a strait-laced forensic accountant to solve the case. Hoping to win back his detective's badge, Yancy lands in the middle of a turf war between rival criminal organizations, with a well-read mob boss, the boss's unhinged son and a tough young woman who needs his protection. He's also dealing with his aging father, unfinished romantic business with Dr. Rosa, played by Natalie Martinez, who launches her own investigation into a mysterious rash, and a loud animal relocation specialist whose business threatens the local environment.
