What Dark Matter Season 2 is about
Based on Blake Crouch's bestselling novel, Dark Matter follows physicist Jason Dessen, who was abducted into an alternate version of his life in Season 1. Apple says Season 2 picks up with the Dessens settling into a quiet life in a world that finally seems safe, until the unimaginable forces them to run again. Jason's obsession with the Box deepens while Daniela's growing paranoia pushes her to the brink.
Elsewhere, Amanda and Ryan join forces in a desperate attempt to find their way home, Blair is determined to stop Leighton, and Leighton keeps chasing his vision of creating a perfect world. Crouch returns as showrunner.
