What happens in the Boston season
The format hasn't changed. Thirty Boston singles, ages 28 to 40, date from separate pods while talking through a glowing wall. Couples who connect get engaged without ever seeing each other. Then they meet face to face, take a getaway, move in together and plan a wedding over a few weeks before deciding at the altar whether to say "I do."
Netflix's guide to the cast mentions a beekeeper with an 8-year-old son, a skincare pro with a rule against dating Boston men, a retired professional baseball player and a biotech engineer. The group includes 16 women and 14 men, with jobs ranging from NICU nurse and attorney to yacht captain and software engineer.
