Super Bowl LXI Is Streaming on Disney+: Every Way to Watch on Disney+, ESPN, ABC and DIRECTV
The short answer: Super Bowl LXI is Sunday, Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on ESPN and ABC. It's ESPN's first Super Bowl and ABC's first since 2006. On October 7, 2026, Disney announced that every Disney+ subscriber in the U.S. can stream the game live in English or Spanish. That works on any Disney+ plan, and you don't need to add ESPN.
- On TV: ESPN, plus your local ABC station. On DIRECTV, ESPN is channel 206.
- Streaming: Disney+ (any U.S. plan, from $12.49/mo.), the ESPN app with ESPN Unlimited ($31.99/mo.), or the DIRECTV app with a package that includes ESPN.
- Alternate feeds: the ManningCast on ESPN2 (DIRECTV channel 209) and the Spanish telecast on ESPN Deportes (channel 466). Disney+ carries the Spanish feed too.

Which feed you get on Disney+, the ESPN app and DIRECTV
Disney's announcement and its ESPN app details show that the three ways to stream don't carry exactly the same programming. Here's what each one has, based on what Disney had announced as of October 7, 2026:

If you only want the game, a Disney+ subscription you already have does the job. If you want the ManningCast or the pregame shows, use ESPN Unlimited or a TV package with ESPN and ESPN2. Many DIRECTV customers already have ESPN Unlimited, since it's included with DIRECTV streaming packages and MySports.
What Disney announced on October 7
- Every U.S. Disney+ subscriber gets the game. Disney+ normally needs an ESPN subscription for most live ESPN events, but the Super Bowl is open to all Disney+ plans.
- English and Spanish: the standard ESPN/ABC presentation and the ESPN Deportes telecast both stream on Disney+.
- Two Monday Night Football games first: Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, Oct. 26 (Week 7) will also stream on Disney+, and a second game will be announced later. Both still air on ESPN as scheduled.
- The ESPN app keeps everything: every Monday Night Football game, both Super Bowl telecasts, the ManningCast and all of ESPN's Super Bowl Sunday studio shows.
- Outside the U.S.: Disney+ will stream the game in more than 55 international markets, including Latin America, Brazil, the Caribbean, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
ESPN will also host a week of ESPN and ABC broadcasts from Santa Monica Beach starting Feb. 8, along with a free fan event on the Santa Monica Pier. Disney says ABC and ESPN sold every commercial slot for the game by August, the earliest Super Bowl sellout on record.
Use Cowboys at Eagles on Oct. 26 as a test run
The Week 7 Monday Night Football game is the first ESPN NFL telecast that every Disney+ subscriber can stream. If you're planning to watch the Super Bowl on Disney+, use it to test your setup before February:
- Update the Disney+ app on the TV or streaming device you'll use on game day, and make sure you can sign in.
- Check your internet. Live streams are less forgiving than on-demand shows, so a wired connection or a router close to the TV helps.
- Have a backup. DIRECTV customers can switch to ESPN on channel 206 or their local ABC channel if a stream stalls. Antenna users can improve ABC reception with these tips.
- Know your ABC channel. Look up what channel ABC is in your area before game day.

Should you sign up for anything now?
- You already have Disney+: you're set for the game. Nothing to add.
- You have DIRECTV with ESPN: you're set too. Use channel 206 or local ABC, or the DIRECTV app away from home.
- You have neither: there's no reason to pay months early. A Disney+ plan bought the week of the game costs the same $12.49, if Disney's price doesn't change by then. If you want ESPN all season, a DIRECTV package or the MySports Genre Pack carries ESPN, ESPN2 and local ABC.
