What happens on Next Level Baker Season 2?
Gordon Ramsay returns with mentor Carla Hall, and award-winning pastry chef and author Waylynn Lucas joins them as a new mentor this season. Each mentor picks a team made up of one professional baker, one social media baker and one home baker, and the teams compete through holiday-themed challenges, special guests and surprise twists in the middle of bakes.
The premiere opens with a holiday performance by Pentatonix, the three-time Grammy-winning a cappella group, before the team reveal. FOX says the season builds toward a three-tier cake challenge in the finale, and the last baker standing wins $50,000 and a HexClad prize package.
