How to Watch the NBA on Peacock and NBC in 2026-27 With DIRECTV
NBC Sports has 100 NBA regular-season games in 2026-27 across NBC, Peacock and NBCSN. The season opened with the first-ever NBA Tip-Off tripleheader on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, and the weekly schedule settles into three nights: Peacock NBA Monday (from Oct. 26), Coast 2 Coast Tuesday on NBC (from Oct. 27) and Sunday Night Basketball on NBC (from Jan. 24, 2027). Every NBC Sports game streams on Peacock.
On DIRECTV, the NBC games are on your local NBC station. The Monday games are Peacock exclusives, so you'll need a Peacock subscription for those.

Which Peacock plan do you need?
NBC Sports says all of its NBA games stream live on Peacock. Peacock's current list prices are:
- Peacock Premium: $12.99 a month
- Peacock Premium Plus: $19.99 a month
These prices took effect August 18, 2026, for new subscribers. Existing subscribers move to them on their first bill after September 17, 2026, unless they're on a promotional or annual rate. Premium Plus mainly adds fewer ads on on-demand shows.
Peacock also adds extras during NBA games, including Performance View and ScoreCard. Our guide to Peacock's NBA viewing features explains how they work.
How Peacock and NBC fit with DIRECTV
- NBC games (Tuesdays, Sundays and holidays): on your local NBC station, included with DIRECTV packages that carry local channels where available. You don't need Peacock for these.
- Monday games: stream on Peacock. They're also on NBCSN, but NBCSN isn't part of DIRECTV's lineup, so DIRECTV customers should use Peacock.
- Peacock on DIRECTV: the Peacock app runs on DIRECTV Gemini devices with a separate Peacock subscription.
