The same NHL schedule also lists Utah16 and Mammoth+ for the away team's U.S. market, and SN1 and TVAS-D in Canada. Those listings describe different viewing territories; they do not mean every feed is available to every viewer.
Check the feed available where you watch
DIRECTV's official NHL guide lists NHL Network at channel 215. Check that channel and the actual game entry on your account. Sports blackout and territorial restrictions can apply, so a national schedule listing should not be treated as an unconditional promise of local access.
Utah viewers should check the eligibility of the team or local service separately. A subscription to one provider does not automatically establish access to another company's app. Our NHL Network channel guide and NHL viewing hub provide related context.
Check access before puck drop
Open your current television guide and confirm that the game appears on the intended network. A channel number helps locate a feed; it does not establish that the channel is included in every subscription. Check the plan on your own account before adding or changing service.
If you plan to watch away from your usual television, test the app and sign-in in advance. A compatible device, data connection and eligible programming package are required; location and out-of-home restrictions can affect access. Avoid waiting until the event starts to discover that an app needs an update or a different account login.
Make a simple viewing plan
Set a reminder using your own time zone, check the listing again on game day and allow time to resolve access problems. Start times and broadcast assignments can change. Do not assume that a replay, an alternate feed or a separate streaming app has identical rights.
