Lupin Part 4 arrives on Netflix on Friday, October 23, 2026, and Netflix is releasing all eight episodes at once. Netflix originals usually go live at 12 a.m. PT, which is 3 a.m. ET, so the whole season should be ready early Friday morning. Episodes run about 45 minutes each.

Lupin is a Netflix original, so it isn't on a DIRECTV channel. You watch it in the Netflix app on a DIRECTV Gemini device, a smart TV or a streaming stick.

What happens in Lupin Part 4

Omar Sy is back as Assane Diop, the gentleman thief inspired by Maurice Leblanc's Arsène Lupin stories. Netflix says the new season picks up four years after Part 3, with Assane still in prison. He's given up on Lupin and wants to serve his sentence, then keep his promise to his son to visit their family in Senegal.

Those plans fall apart when someone signing as "Lupin" announces simultaneous heists at several museums. The thefts go off despite tight security, and everything points to Assane, including camera footage that appears to show him at one of the robberies, where Captain Belkacem is seriously hurt. To clear his name and unmask the copycat, Assane has to escape and become Lupin again.

Part 3 came out in October 2023 and ended with Assane turning himself in to the police, so this is the first new Lupin in three years.
