How to Watch From on Netflix, MGM+ and DIRECTV: Netflix Date, Seasons and Season 5 Status
From, the MGM+ sci-fi horror series starring Harold Perrineau as Boyd Stevens, arrives on Netflix in the United States on Monday, October 19, 2026. Netflix is getting Seasons 1 through 3 as part of a limited-time licensing window. Season 4 isn’t part of the Netflix release and stays on MGM+, which remains the show’s home and will premiere the fifth and final season in 2027.
That makes this fall the easiest time yet to catch up on From. Netflix members can watch the first three seasons at no extra cost, then move to MGM+ for Season 4. Here’s how to watch From on Netflix, MGM+ and DIRECTV, as of October 15, 2026.

When does From come to Netflix?
From lands on Netflix in the US on Monday, October 19, 2026. Netflix announced the date on October 13 with a simple message: Seasons 1-3 premiere October 19. All three seasons arrive on the same day, so you can binge from the pilot straight through the Season 3 finale.
Netflix hasn’t posted a specific drop time. Licensed shows usually show up early in the morning, so search “From” in the Netflix app on October 19 or add it to My List once its title page appears.
The Netflix deal covers the United States only. From had a short licensed run on Netflix in several European and Middle Eastern countries starting in April 2024, but only Season 1 was offered there, and it has since left those regions.
How long will From stay on Netflix?
Netflix and MGM+ describe the deal only as a limited-time window. No end date has been announced. Recent Amazon MGM Studios titles licensed to Netflix have tended to stay for a few months to about a year, so plan to finish Seasons 1-3 sooner rather than later.
The timing is a clear lead-in to the end of the show. Putting the first three seasons on Netflix gives new viewers time to catch up before the final season arrives on MGM+.
Is From Season 4 on Netflix?
No. Season 4 is not part of the October 19 Netflix release. The 10-episode fourth season premiered on MGM+ on April 19, 2026, and wrapped with the finale, “If a Tree Falls in the Forest…,” on June 28, 2026. It streams on MGM+.
That means a full catch-up runs through two services: Seasons 1-3 on Netflix, then Season 4 on MGM+. MGM+ also carries Seasons 1-3, so if you already pay for MGM+ you can watch the whole series in one place.
When does From Season 5 come out?
MGM+ renewed From for a fifth and final season on April 15, 2026, just before Season 4 premiered. Season 5 began production in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in July 2026 and is expected to premiere on MGM+ in 2027. MGM+ hasn’t announced a premiere date.
Netflix isn’t getting Season 5. The final season is set to air on MGM+, the network that has carried From since its 2022 debut.
What is From about?
Created by John Griffin, From follows the residents of a nightmarish town in middle America that traps everyone who enters. Escape appears impossible, and when night falls, humanlike creatures come out of the surrounding forest. The townspeople barricade themselves indoors after dark and rely on mysterious stone talismans to keep the creatures out of their homes.
Harold Perrineau leads the cast as Boyd Stevens, the town’s de facto sheriff. The ensemble includes Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, Scott McCord, Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He, Elizabeth Saunders, David Alpay and Avery Konrad. Jeff Pinkner is the showrunner, and Lost director Jack Bender is an executive producer. MGM+ calls From the most-watched series in its history.
How to watch From on MGM+
MGM+ is the only place to stream Season 4 and is where the final season will air. As of October 2026, MGM+ costs $7.99 a month or $61.99 a year, and new or eligible returning customers may see an introductory 7-day free trial in the app stores. MGM+ is ad-free and is sold several ways:
- MGM+ app: subscribe directly and stream on phones, tablets, smart TVs and streaming devices.
- Prime Video: MGM+ can be added as a channel inside Prime Video, so you don’t have to switch apps.
- TV providers: MGM+ is also carried by cable, satellite and live TV streaming services, including DIRECTV.
How to watch From with DIRECTV
DIRECTV customers have two routes, depending on which seasons you want.
For Seasons 1-3 on Netflix: DIRECTV’s Gemini device comes with the Netflix app preloaded. Open Netflix on Gemini, sign in with your Netflix account and search for From starting October 19. New DIRECTV customers who choose a Genre Pack and add a Gemini device can get 12 months of Netflix Standard with Ads at no extra cost; our guide to how to get Netflix free on DIRECTV explains the fine print. More on the device in our DIRECTV Gemini device guide.
For Season 4 and the final season on MGM+: MGM+ is a DIRECTV premium add-on. Our guide to what channel EPIX (now MGM+) is on DIRECTV lists it on channel 558; check your on-screen guide, because lineups can vary by account. Compare MGM+ with the other movie and series channels in our DIRECTV premium channel add-ons guide, or call 1-855-690-9884 and we’ll confirm the current price and how to add it.
You can also install the MGM+ app on a Gemini device. Press APPS on the Gemini Voice remote, choose Get more apps on Google Play Store, then search for the app and select Download. Gemini holds up to 15 added apps, and third-party apps like MGM+ need their own subscription unless you add MGM+ through DIRECTV.

| Standard | $19.99/mo | No ads, 2 streams, 1080p |
| Premium | $26.99/mo | No ads, 4 streams, 4K and HDR |

More horror to watch this October
If From puts you in a Halloween mood, AMC’s FearFest 2026 schedule on DIRECTV and the HBO Max Horror Comes Home collection line up plenty more scares for the month.
