What to expect
Beyond Society explores what happened after the survivors of Flight 571 were rescued from the Andes and returned home. The three-episode documentary brings together survivors, families of those who died, authors and filmmakers who have helped tell the story.
Carlos Torres directs the series, created with J.A. Bayona and produced by Bayona, Sandra Hermida and Belén Atienza. It follows the aftermath of the events dramatized in Society of the Snow. This is a documentary series about the people and their lives after the rescue, rather than a new edition of the feature film.
Subscription access
Check the current subscription level shown on the title page. An app installed on a television does not establish that your account includes the paid program. Review the current price and renewal terms before starting a new subscription.
Check whether your household already has access through a subscription or eligible bundle. Activation and account linking may be required. A cable or satellite package alone does not unlock every streaming service.
How to find the release
- Open Netflix on a supported device.
- Sign in to the account used for the subscription.
- Search Beyond Society and confirm the correct title.
- Check the release date, rating and languages shown locally.
- Select the available playback option when the title releases.
A trailer or reminder button before the premiere does not mean the full program is already available. For a series, follow the service’s own episode listing rather than assuming every episode arrives together. No unconfirmed episode schedule is promised here.
Watching on your television
Use a compatible smart-TV app or streaming device and test sign-in before viewing. This release is accessed through Netflix, rather than by entering a numbered DIRECTV channel. If the app cannot play it, check the account, plan, regional availability and connection before paying for another account.
The current release listing supports the premiere information. Dates and subscription terms were reviewed October 27, 2026 and can change.
