Which cities get local channels on Sling?
Sling offers some local ABC, FOX and NBC stations in select markets. Which stations appear depends on your ZIP code and plan, and the lineup can change. Check Sling’s local-channel lookup for your address. Where a station is unavailable through Sling, an over-the-air antenna may help.
Why the RSN gap matters this season
Local sports TV changed in 2026. FanDuel Sports Network shut down after the 2025–26 NBA regular season, and many of its teams moved to free local stations, team apps or DAZN. Plenty of teams still air on regional sports networks, though, including NBC Sports Boston, YES Network, MSG, Chicago Sports Network, Altitude Sports, NBC Sports Bay Area, Space City Home Network, Spectrum SportsNet and NBC Sports Philadelphia. If your team is one of them, Sling can’t show those games at all.

How DIRECTV covers local sports
DIRECTV carries regional sports networks starting with the CHOICE package, or with the MySports Genre Pack plus the MyHome Team add-on, where the network is available in your ZIP code. It carries local ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC stations where available in your market, including CBS, which Sling doesn’t offer. National sports networks include ESPN on channel 206, ESPN2 on 209 and NBA TV on 216.
