What Channel Is SEC Network on Xfinity?

SEC Network doesn't have one channel number on Xfinity. Comcast numbers it differently from system to system, so the channel in Atlanta isn't the one in Houston or Nashville, and most areas have a separate number for the HD feed. In Atlanta, for example, third-party listings show SEC Network on channel 300, with HD on 792. In Houston it's 140 (HD 715), and in Nashville it's 718 (HD 1321).

The table below lists 15 Xfinity markets, from SEC country to the big Northeast and Midwest systems. To confirm the number at your address, search "SEC Network" in your Xfinity guide or enter your address in Xfinity's local channel lineup tool, found at xfinity.com/support/local-channel-lineup. If you'd rather have one number everywhere, SEC Network is channel 611 on DIRECTV nationwide.

SEC Network channel numbers on Xfinity by city

As of October 12, 2026. These numbers come from third-party channel listings (TVChannelsGuide), not from Xfinity, and Xfinity can change a lineup at any time. Check your own lineup before game day.

Some patterns stand out. Several Southeast systems put SEC Network in the 740s (Savannah, Knoxville, Memphis, Huntsville, Jacksonville, Tampa and Miami), but the HD numbers jump around, from 400 in Savannah to 1738 in Knoxville. Baltimore and Washington, D.C., share 710 and HD 913. Atlanta and Houston, two of the biggest SEC markets, are the outliers, at 300 and 140. Even two cities in the same state can be far apart, so don't assume a neighbor's number works for you.

How to find SEC Network on your Xfinity lineup

Search the guide or use the voice remote

On an X1 or Xfinity Flex box, press the microphone button on the voice remote and say "SEC Network." It tunes the channel or shows upcoming games. You can also open the guide and type "SEC" in search. Once you find it, write down both the SD and HD numbers, or add the channel to your favorites.

Check Xfinity's local channel lineup tool

Xfinity's lineup tool (xfinity.com/support/local-channel-lineup) shows every channel at your address. Enter your address, search "SEC Network" and it shows the channel number for your system, along with the packages that include it. That's the most reliable answer because it's tied to your system, not a citywide average.

Look in the Xfinity app

Sign in to the Xfinity app or Xfinity Stream to see your plan's channel list. If SEC Network isn't in it, your package doesn't include the channel, and you'll need to change plans. For every channel Xfinity carries, see our list of all Xfinity TV channels.

Which Xfinity packages include SEC Network?

Xfinity's packages and names vary by area, so it's worth checking before you assume you have the channel. SEC Network was on the channel list for Xfinity's Sports & News TV package when Comcast launched it in January 2025, alongside ESPN, ACC Network and Big Ten Network. In Xfinity's regular cable tiers, the third-party lineup trackers we checked don't agree on whether it's included with TV Plus or only with TV Premium, which is one more reason to check your own plan.

We haven't listed package prices here because Xfinity prices vary by ZIP code and promotion. Xfinity's lineup tool or the Xfinity app will show what your plan includes.

SEC Network vs. SEC Network+

These are two different things, and it trips people up on Saturdays. SEC Network is the regular TV channel, with its own channel number on Xfinity. SEC Network+ is a set of streaming-only events in the ESPN app, and it has no permanent Xfinity channel number. If a game is listed as SEC Network+ or SECN+, you won't find it by flipping channels. Open the ESPN app instead.

For the SEC Network channel itself, you can stream it with your Xfinity login in Xfinity's own apps or by choosing Xfinity as your TV provider in the ESPN app, as long as your package includes SEC Network. Some channels stream only on your home network, so if a game won't start away from home, try again on your home Wi-Fi.

Xfinity vs. DIRECTV for SEC Network

The main difference is the channel number. On Xfinity, SEC Network's number depends on your local system, and it can change when a lineup is reshuffled. On DIRECTV, it's channel 611 nationwide, next to Big Ten Network on 610 and ACC Network on 612, with ESPNU on 208. If you follow more than one conference, having them side by side makes Saturday channel-surfing easier. Compare the two services in our DIRECTV vs. Xfinity TV guide, or check DIRECTV options at your address.

On Spectrum, the number also varies by city. See what channel SEC Network is on Spectrum. For other Xfinity channels, see CBS on Xfinity and NFL Network on Xfinity.

Can't find SEC Network on Xfinity?

  • Search instead of scrolling. Say "SEC Network" into the voice remote or type "SEC" in guide search, in case the number moved.
  • Try the other number. Many systems list SD and HD separately, so if one doesn't tune, try the other.
  • Check your plan. If the channel isn't in your package, it won't show up in the guide or apps.
  • Restart the box. Unplug the TV box for about a minute and plug it back in to refresh the guide.
  • Check whether it's SEC Network+. Streaming-only SECN+ games are in the ESPN app, not on the channel.
