All 11 Seasons of The Walking Dead Come to AMC+ on Jan. 7, 2027: How to Watch With DIRECTV

For the first time, every episode of The Walking Dead is coming to AMC's own streaming service. AMC announced at New York Comic Con on October 9, 2026, that all 11 seasons and 177 episodes of the original series will stream on AMC+ starting January 7, 2027. Netflix, which has carried the show since 2011, keeps it too.
Here's what changes in January, what AMC+ costs today, and how DIRECTV customers can watch the whole franchise.
What's coming to AMC+ on Jan. 7
- The Walking Dead, all 11 seasons and 177 episodes, joins AMC+'s Walking Dead Universe collection.
- With the original series added, the collection totals 371 episodes across the flagship and six spin-offs: Fear the Walking Dead, Daryl Dixon, Dead City, The Ones Who Live, World Beyond and Tales of the Walking Dead.
- Bonus material includes specials, behind-the-scenes content and Comic-Con panels.
- The fourth and final season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon premieres in February 2027 and streams exclusively on AMC+.
Netflix keeps it, and gets the spin-offs
This came out of a co-exclusive deal AMC and Netflix announced on July 30, 2026. Netflix keeps the original series, and starting in 2027 it adds Fear the Walking Dead, Daryl Dixon, Dead City, The Ones Who Live, World Beyond and Tales of the Walking Dead worldwide. If you already pay for Netflix, you don't have to switch. AMC+ is the place to go for the newest Daryl Dixon episodes and the bonus extras.
