Local News on DIRECTV Streaming Plans (2026)

Updated September 28, 2026: DIRECTV offers local and national news through its MyNews Genre Pack and traditional streaming packages. Local stations vary by market, so the exact lineup must be checked by ZIP code.

DIRECTV MyNews

MyNews includes more than 10 news and information channels, including major national news networks, plus local channels where available. DIRECTV currently lists a regular price of $44.99 per month and may advertise shorter promotional rates. The service renews monthly at the then-current rate unless canceled.

Local channel availability

ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and other local stations depend on the service and billing region. Some markets do not receive every local network, and sports or other programs may be subject to blackout restrictions. Use DIRECTV's ZIP-code channel lookup before ordering.

Other streaming packages

DIRECTV Signature streaming packages combine local stations where available with broader entertainment, sports and news lineups. The MyEntertainment and MyNews Duo combines entertainment apps and channels with the MyNews lineup.
