The announced customer upgrade

Charter’s November 4 announcement offers a temporary Gig Speed Lift from November 9–30 to qualified residential customers. Customers need a qualifying plan and compatible equipment, must have no outstanding obligation to Spectrum, and activate it through the My Spectrum app. Eligible plans move to 1 Gig, or 2 Gig for existingGig customers in select areas. The original tier resumes afterward, with no bill change from the lift itself. Restrictions apply and the offer can change.

Moving dates, the end of your present service and the cost of keeping it can matter more than an uncertain reward. If your existing connection meets your needs through November, you can compare later offers when they are actually published. Save the current quote so that you can compare like for like.

The temporary speed lift is for eligible customers. It does not establish a new-customer Black Friday gift-card or free-month offer. Separate new-customer holiday extras have not been verified for this review.
