Portland Fire and Toronto Tempo: How to Watch the WNBA Expansion Teams From the U.S.
The WNBA added two expansion teams in 2026, the Portland Fire and the Toronto Tempo. They built their first rosters in the April 3 expansion draft. In the U.S., Fire games not on national TV air locally on FOX 12 Plus (KPDX) in Portland, with some simulcast on FOX 12 (KPTV). Tempo games air across Canada on TSN, so U.S. fans mostly see the Tempo in national U.S. windows or on the opponent's local broadcast.
Where each expansion team airs
| Team | Local or home TV | For U.S. viewers on DIRECTV |
