Wild+ Is Now on DIRECTV: Channel 668 and How to Watch the Minnesota Wild

Wild+, the Minnesota Wild's team-owned TV network, is now on DIRECTV. On October 24, 2026, DIRECTV and the NHL announced a multi-year agreement that puts Wild+ on channel 668 for DIRECTV streaming customers and channel 668-1 for satellite customers. U-verse customers find it on 1745/745. The same deal added the Hurricanes, Blue Jackets and Blues team networks.

Wild+ is available to DIRECTV customers who live in the Wild's NHL home territory and subscribe to CHOICE or a higher package, and to U-verse customers there with U200 or higher, according to DIRECTV. That ends the gap this page tracked since the season started. The background is in our Wild+ Comcast and DIRECTV carriage talks guide.

The deal also covers DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS, so bars, restaurants and other commercial venues in the Wild's region can show Wild+ games. The DIRECTV announcement doesn't cover Comcast Xfinity, and we couldn't confirm a Comcast deal as of October 25, 2026.

National Wild games on DIRECTV

The Wild's national games stay on the networks' usual DIRECTV channels, including ABC, ESPN and TNT. The Wild's 2026-27 national schedule has two games on ABC, five on ESPN, three on ESPN+/Disney+/Hulu and seven on TNT. FanDuel Sports Network North is still on DIRECTV, but it no longer carries the Wild. Our FanDuel Sports North and the Wild on DIRECTV guide has the details.

Frequently asked questions

Is Wild+ on DIRECTV?

Yes. Under a multi-year DIRECTV-NHL agreement announced October 24, 2026, Wild+ is on DIRECTV channel 668 for streaming customers and 668-1 for satellite customers who live in the Wild's NHL home territory and subscribe to CHOICE or higher. U-verse customers in the same area with U200 or higher get it on 1745/745.

Which DIRECTV package do I need for Wild+?

CHOICE or higher for DIRECTV satellite and streaming, or U200 or higher for U-verse, and your service address has to be inside the Wild's home territory.

Can I watch Wild+ on DIRECTV outside Minnesota's territory?

No. DIRECTV carries Wild+ only for customers in the Wild's NHL home territory. Fans elsewhere can watch out-of-market games with NHL Center Ice or NHL Power Play on the ESPN app, and national games air on ABC, ESPN and TNT.

Do I still need a Wild+ subscription on Prime Video?

Not if you get Wild+ through an eligible DIRECTV package in the Wild's territory. The $19.99-a-month or $99.99-a-season Prime Video subscription is an option for fans without a TV provider that carries Wild+.

Is FanDuel Sports North still showing Wild games?

No. Starting in 2026-27, Wild+ shows all Wild games that aren't on national TV.
