North Central Telephone Cooperative (NCTC) was founded in 1951 and is a member-owned, not-for-profit telecommunications cooperative based in La Vergne, Tennessee. NCTC is the “largest independent Internet, Voice and Video provider” in the area and is the only telecommunications cooperative in the state.
NCTC provides both business and residential services including Fiber Internet, Phone, and Digital TV. The company's fiber-optic network provides speeds up to 1 Gbps to customers in their coverage area. Coverage is available in Tennessee, including 5,000 square miles in the greater Nashville area, as well as several other areas in Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Arkansas, and Virginia.
