Mille Lacs Energy Cooperative (MLEC) is a member-owned not-for-profit electric cooperative founded in 1935. The cooperative provides reliable and cost-effective electric service to over 30,000 members in its 11-county service territories of Benton, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Pine, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd, and Wright.
