Five Area Telephone Cooperative(FATCo) is a telecommunications provider based in central Texas that provides telephone, internet, and other communication services to the communities of Vega, Mobeetie, Hedley, Skellytown, and Pampa. Founded in 1992, FATCo has grown to become one of the largest communications providers of its kind in the state.
FATCo offers a wide range of services, including local and long-distance telephone services, high-speed internet, business solutions, directory assistance, call blocking, caller ID, automatic call forwarding, and voicemail.
FATCo's coverage area is quite extensive, serving over 25,000 customers in its five-county area of Wheeler, Collingsworth, Carson, Gray, and Donley counties. FATCo's reliable network infrastructure is comprised of landline stations, trunk/bridges, and microwave transmission towers.
