About Exede

Exede was started in 2012 by the company ViaSat. It provides satellite internet services, mainly for rural areas where other forms of internet are either not available or not reliable. It offers coverage across the continental US and some parts of Alaska and Hawaii. It's reliability is generally good, with speeds ranging up to 25 Mbps download and 4 Mbps upload. Exede offers 24-7 customer service with toll-free numbers for technical and billing support, as well as a self-help online chat service. Its plans vary, offering generous data allowances with no overage fees, no contracts, and no activation fee. Customers may also opt for additional data, if needed. Exede also has a wide range of equipment and installation options, allowing customers to customize the set-up to their needs.
