Watching with DIRECTV
Check whether Golf Channel is included in your DIRECTV package and find its current channel number in your guide. A television subscription needs to include the relevant channel; having a receiver or streaming device alone does not establish access.
When using the DIRECTV app, confirm that your account, package, device and viewing location support the channel. A separate sports app can have its own authentication and subscription requirements. Do not assume that a general streaming subscription includes this telecast.
Plan a recording and check the time zone
The table uses Eastern time. Set a recording using the program entry in your local guide so that your receiver uses its configured time zone. Live sports can run beyond a scheduled window; review your recording options if you want additional time at the end.
The event dates cover four rounds. If you are joining after Thursday, check which round is currently live and whether an earlier program is a replay. A listing for a preview, highlights show or radio broadcast is different from the full Golf Channel telecast.
Before making a viewing plan
Confirm the current date, the full-telecast listing and channel access on the device you intend to use. Travel and account restrictions can affect app access. The course illustration above is a concept image rather than an official photograph of a tournament hole.
