The story

Tank plays Isaac, who moves with his wife Rebecca, played by Fantasia Barrino, and their family to New York. Restoring the church brings pressure on their faith and relationships. The film combines a holiday story with gospel performances.

Cast and creative team

Perry wrote and directed the film and produces with Angi Bones and Tony L. Strickland. Netflix's cast announcement includes Fred Hammond, Ann Nesby, Shirley Caesar, Hezekiah Walker, the Clark Sisters, Yolanda Adams and CeCe Winans, among a larger ensemble.

Watch in the Netflix app

Open Netflix on a supported smart TV, streaming player, phone or tablet and search for the exact movie title. Check the title page in your country for availability, age rating, audio and captions. Set a reminder if the movie has not arrived yet. We have not independently confirmed an exact release hour.

Netflix is a separate app rather than a numbered DIRECTV channel. Review your existing subscription and any eligible bundle before paying for another account. The DIRECTV and Netflix offer guide explains options to investigate; eligibility and current terms determine whether an offer applies to you.

Before movie night

Update the app, test your sign-in and check which profile will be used. Supported picture quality depends on the plan, movie and playback equipment. Check Netflix's own listing before changing a subscription, especially if you are traveling or using a profile with maturity restrictions.
