What happens in Season 14?
Whitney is back in her home state of North Carolina, and TLC says she has found love with Jake, a man she first met years ago and reconnected with after moving back to Charlotte. As the relationship grows more serious, Whitney balances the new romance with some of the biggest decisions of her life, including her long-held dream of becoming a mom.
TLC also says Whitney is rediscovering her confidence through dance and exploring new options on her health journey. Family tensions rise, friendships are tested and a few unexpected twists challenge her plans along the way. Whitney announced her engagement to Jake Beaudoin earlier in 2026, so longtime viewers already know where the relationship is headed.
The series first premiered in January 2015, and Season 13 aired in the summer of 2025.
