How to Watch Dolly Parton: Here I Am and Coat of Many Colors on The CW
By American TV editorial team |
The CW is airing a two-night Dolly Parton tribute on Wednesday, December 2 and Thursday, December 3, 2026, from 8 to 10 p.m. both nights. Night one is the documentary Dolly Parton: Here I Am, and night two is the TV movie Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors. If The CW is included in your DIRECTV lineup, both air on the local affiliate assigned to your address.
Dolly Parton: Here I Am is a musical journey through the people and places that shaped Dolly's career, built on career-spanning archival footage of the country music legend. It shows the spirit, soul and hard work behind an artist who has inspired countless others.
Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors tells the true story of Dolly's upbringing inside the tight-knit Parton family as they work through a devastating tragedy and find the healing power of love, faith and the raggedy patchwork coat that inspired her famous song. The film stars Jennifer Nettles, Ricky Schroder, Gerald McRaney and Alyvia Alyn Lind as young Dolly.
