Find the movie in your guide
Open your DIRECTV guide and search for Chocolate for Christmas. Select the November 6 airing and confirm the channel and local start time shown for your account. The announced time above is Eastern; use the current guide when planning viewing in another time zone.
If channel 338 does not play, check the package and delivery service associated with your account. A channel number identifies a listing, while an active entitlement determines whether you can watch it. Confirm the current lineup rather than assuming all DIRECTV plans contain the same networks.
Set a recording if you will miss the premiere
Select the particular movie entry and review the available recording options. Check that the recording appears in your scheduled list, with the correct date and title. Storage, recording features and later access depend on your equipment and plan.
Before the broadcast, revisit the listing for any schedule change. If you choose a later showing, use the date and time of that specific entry. This guide does not promise an on-demand copy or a fixed catch-up window after the premiere.
Verify any streaming alternative separately
A television-network listing does not establish that the film is available through every app using a similar brand. If you prefer streaming, search the actual service and confirm the title and subscription requirements before signing up. Do not assume that receiving UPtv through DIRECTV activates a separate subscription.
No streaming subscription price, free trial or unverified same-day on-demand option is quoted here. Read the offer for the service you choose, including renewal and cancellation terms, and test playback on your intended screen.
Plan more holiday viewing
For other holiday programs, see our Lifetime Christmas schedule guide or Snowbody Like You viewing guide. Those are separate networks and programs; check their own listings and package requirements.
