How to Watch the Bob’s Burgers Christmas Special on Hulu (Dec 2026)
By American TV editorial team |
Bob’s Burgers: On the Fort Day of Christmas premieres December 7, 2026, on Hulu in the United States. Eligible U.S. bundle subscribers can also look for it through Hulu on Disney+. Search for the full short title to distinguish it from earlier Christmas episodes.

A snowy project for the Belcher kids
Creator Loren Bouchard announced the December release at New York Comic Con. The holiday story gives the Belcher children a large snow fort to build during an unusually heavy Christmas snowstorm. It is a streaming holiday short, separate from the regular FOX season’s return.
Season 17 is announced for FOX in 2027. Do not treat the short’s December 7 launch as a confirmed premiere date for the regular season or assume that a new weekly run starts that day.
Find the short on Hulu
- Open Hulu on a supported television, streaming device or browser.
- Sign in using the account that has the subscription.
- Search On the Fort Day of Christmas or Bob’s Burgers.
- Confirm that the listing identifies the new holiday short.
- Choose the included playback option when it becomes available.
A trailer, reminder button or series tile before release does not mean the short is already playable. Check the date and title information rather than choosing an older Christmas episode with a similar thumbnail.
Using Hulu on Disney+
Check the current bundle eligibility and the account used to sign in. Access to Disney+ alone does not establish access to every Hulu title. Complete any required activation or account linking, then verify that the holiday short appears in the account’s Hulu area.
This guide focuses on U.S. viewing. Catalogs, plans and availability can differ outside the United States, so check the title page for the country where you will watch. No worldwide same-hour release is promised here.
Watching on a TV
A compatible smart-TV app or streaming device provides the streaming route. An installed app or a DIRECTV subscription alone does not unlock a paid Hulu account. See our Gemini device guide if you are checking how streaming apps fit into your television setup.
Before subscribing again, check whether the household already has active access. Review the current price, renewal terms and plan requirements on the service, and test playback on the television you intend to use.
