Confirm SEC Network access
Open your DIRECTV guide, find SEC Network and check the Alabama at Vanderbilt entry for November 14. Channel 611 identifies the network; it does not establish that every DIRECTV plan includes it. Review your current account's lineup before buying or changing a package.
DIRECTV's official network guide lists SEC Network in selected packages. Confirm your service edition, equipment and final channel access. Our SEC Network channel guide provides more background.
Streaming and app access
DIRECTV's SEC Network guide describes connecting an eligible live-TV subscription to the ESPN app. Check that your current television package includes SEC Network, then follow the app's television-provider sign-in instructions and confirm the game's live listing.
Do not assume that a separately purchased streaming subscription or an account login alone includes every SEC event. Check the precise service and title listing before paying. Device compatibility, internet access and applicable location or blackout rules still matter.
Plan for the early Nashville start
The SEC's November 2 television announcement and Alabama's current schedule identify the 11:45 a.m. Central start. Vanderbilt's official ticket listing identifies FirstBank Stadium. Set your reminder in the time zone where you will watch, and review the current listing again before game day.
If you plan to record the broadcast, select the correct guide entry and review the recording options supported by your account. If you are travelling, test access on the intended screen ahead of kickoff. Home television carriage does not automatically establish viewing rights on every device or in every location.
Georgia Tech at Clemson begins at 12:30 p.m. ET on The CW that day. It has a local-station requirement rather than SEC Network's channel listing. Check both entries if you plan to follow both games.
