What is Adopting St. Nick about?
Maren (Groening) is a single mom who runs her late father's hardware store and is always fixing things for her neighbors. When her adopted daughter, Leah (Taylor Blake), joins the Christmas Companions program at a new retirement community called Jolly Acres, she's paired with Kris (Randy Apostle), a resident who looks a lot like Santa Claus. Maren meets Reid (Rady), the center's traveling launch director, and when the contractor for the community room pulls out, she offers to finish the job herself.
