The 100th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is Thursday, November 26, 2026. Macy’s official announcement lists NBC, Peacock and Telemundo coverage beginning at 8:30 a.m. in all time zones. On DIRECTV, check your local NBC station for the English-language telecast and your local Telemundo station for Spanish-language coverage.

Find the station with our NBC channel guide and Telemundo channel guide. The Countdown to Macy’s Parade special is a separate program, so select the right guide entry when planning your viewing.

The New York parade and a local-time telecast are not necessarily simultaneous in every time zone. Check the start time displayed by your local station and the Peacock event listing separately. Do not assume that a streaming event follows the same delayed television schedule everywhere.

What Macy’s has announced for the centennial

Macy’s is planning a record 100 inflatable elements for its 100th parade. Its announcement names a new Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey balloon, a redesigned Underdog returning after its last flight in 1984, and a return for Felix the Cat.

The Macy’s All-Stars float brings back familiar characters from parade history, while Tony Sarg’s Amazing Marionettes honors the artist associated with early parade designs. The announcement also introduces Billie Brightpaw and Tom Jr. and describes a return for the Blue Hippopotamus. Check Macy’s current lineup for later additions and changes.

How to watch through DIRECTV

First confirm that your package carries the local station you want. NBC and Telemundo channel numbers vary by market, and a general list of DIRECTV packages does not confirm every station at every address. Search the program name in your current guide and check the station and airtime shown there.

If recording is included with your account and device, select the parade’s own program entry and review the recording settings before Thanksgiving morning. The countdown special, parade, encore and later holiday programming can have separate listings.

Streaming on Peacock

Use an eligible Peacock subscription and a supported device. A DIRECTV package alone does not activate Peacock unless the particular offer explicitly includes that access. Check your Peacock account and the current event listing before parade day. Our Peacock guide explains the service.

Check the current program listing for end times and encore broadcasts, and confirm the plan and event details before signup. Internet and device requirements apply.

For live-TV package questions, check DIRECTV options at your address or call 1-855-690-9884.
